Grisu Email Service - Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is my email private and secure with you?

Since i privately use this service myself i have the highest effort to keep the software and security up to date. Since i think privacy is very important i also wont collect any data about your email usage except for the total amount of messages and how much space they take up.

2. How can I get help with my account or any issues?

3. Can I request a new email address?

Absolutely! If you need an email address, please contact me at grisu@grisu.app with your request.

4. How can i trust you to not collect data or snoop around my mails?

You cant. If you don't trust me to keep certain mails you can always delete them yourself or just don't put that important stuff on these mails, its entirely up to you!

5. How often is the service maintained and updated?

I continuously work on improving and updating our service to provide you with the best experience. Updates and maintenance are scheduled to ensure minimal disruption to your email services.

6. What happens if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, you can only recover your account if you’ve previously added a recovery mail in your email settings.

7. Can i log in with other mail clients or only your webmail?

You can always add your email to apps like Thunderbird or Gmail. Theres even a personalized tutorial and autoconfig files on your mail config page on how to add your mail to different apps.

8. Is there a storage limit?

Theres currently no hard cap, I should have enough storage for a long while. If this gets abused i might limit certain mails or remove them entirely. I try to keep no hard limit for as long as possible.

9. What domains are currently supported?

I currently support mails for grisu.app, qkrh.dev and crimeware.cc. I might add new domains in the future.
